Why an Event on Content Marketing?

There are many reasons to visit the CMCX!

Since a few years a diverse market has grown up around the subject content marketing. Specialized content marketing agencies have been established, while others (some very well-known) agencies have expanded their portfolio to include content marketing. Large to small businesses are changing their communication strategy to build up an editorial team or even to run an own newsroom.

Specific terms have recently entered the vocabulary of many marketers: content strategy, content distribution, storytelling, content curation, chief content officer, etc. Topics like these, or whether native advertising is an integral part or rather a supplement to a content strategy, are being debated vividly - and will of course be part of the Content Marketing Conference as well.

In this respect, the aim of the Content Marketing Conference has changed. While in the early years the CMC focused on making content marketing in Germany at all popular, it's now more concentrated on offering an annual reference point in an increasingly complex market by analyzing the past year’s innovations to predict future trends - 2016 for the first time added by an exposition.
